Boink is a game about placing bumpers to increase the amount of money you have. The objects that shoot out of the cannon have their value on it, placed bumpers will increase the value! Purchase upgrades from the menu to buff your setup!

The game saves automatically!

This is a classic version of Boink that I have on Steam! This is to serve as what the game was like before I made major updates and refactors to the game. Enjoy!

I'm up to AG

Update: I beat the game and maxed everything :)

I have quite a high amount of money. Game breaks when I click the x100 upgrades button (i.e. it should now display the MAX upgrades button, but breaks as the money amount is probably too large). I'm at 106 CA money right now.

An option to build multiple bouncers please. Like hold shift places multiple bouncers.

Fun! A good implementation of "engineer a better score trap" style play, I had a good time.
There's no end-game, so when I pushed the SCORE indicator into the "unidentified unicode entry" region (where I get boxes instead of text, like trying to shove Japanese or Arabic script into notepad) I called it a day.  Adding an end-state or goal could improve things a bit?
Great job capping variables and adjusting things so that the system doesn't crash when the numbers get really big!  I'd consider taking the cost-cap for upgrades into account if you implement an end-game - scaling up became super easy once the income gets a log + over the cap for upping a point multiplier.

just some ideas. include a prestige system.  all but base bumper has to be bought by prestige. bumper level is caped and can be extended by prestige. numbers count on board is caped and can be extended by prestige. max multi a number can get within one fall is caped and can be extended by prestige.  canon upgrades can only be bought with prestige.

show splitter and  reshoot level in the bumpers.

maybe add small walls that can be bought. but they should be very expensive.

add shop/prestige etc  to the ui, i dont want to always press tab to open the menue.

and later its very hard to place  bumpers. plz let us place bumper also if theres money in its area. maybe just remove  the money from the board...

i need an option to upgrade all bumper , or all bumper of one kind to   or by  x level.   f.e. upgrade all by 200 lvl, or upgrade all splitter to lvl 200...     atm  even with an autoclicker its nearly impossible to upgrade all bumper, i just get to much money oO

yes this is something I am currently working on. UI/UX work is not my strong suit and im currently trying to figure out how to work it in without it being confusing and what not. good suggestion nonetheless, thanks for playing!

Great game but does it speed up at all? The multipliers don't seem to help much, especially at the start (especially with how expensive they are), will the multiplier values always go up by 0.02 every time?

Fun game. But the multiplicative ones are super underpowered and even after upgrading them they only increase the value by 1 each time? Also they say "x1.1" but on subsequent upgrades they read "x1.02", "x1.03", etc (but still only ever increase the ball's value by 1 anyway)

the multiplication bumpers have proved challenging to balance because you dont start seeing increases greater than 1 till the money objects grow quite large, in the latest update i did increase the multiply amounts to hopefully balance it out further.

also good catch on the mis-label, that bug was also fixed in the latest patch. thank you for playing!

the ability to move placed bumperw would be nice

also the starting level needs to be smaller

moving bumpers was not something ive considered but have now added to my TO-DO list. and in the most recent update, I made the starting level size smaller. thanks for the post!
